DOG WALKING/VISITS
If I'm visiting to walk your dog, I am walking your dog and yours alone. If you want an hour walk, they get an hour walk. I believe that they deserve my time and attention. They will be collected from your home or work at the required time and walked in and around the surrounding areas of your home/work, away from busy roads and with lots of sniff time. Dogs will be let off the lead where appropriate (with your permission first, of course). If I feel off lead time is not appropriate for your dog, I will discuss this with you.
On their return, happy and tired they will be towelled down to ensure they don't leave any muddy paw prints and I will check that they have water available.
It may be they just require a visit for some company and to be let outside. No problem! Some dogs can't do long walks due to their age or physical attributes, so we'll spend some time together and I'll challenge them with some mental enrichment activities or just have a fuss!
I also offer a Training service along with the dog walks/visits. If you need me to work on a specific behaviour like lead pulling this is the service for you. Once the behaviour has been trained and if visits were to continue, then you would revert to the standard dog walking rate.
At the end of each visit, I complete a form to let you know how the walk went, how often they "went potty", what they did....... and anything else I feel you need to know.
If you would like to see the route we took, I also send a report (via text message) which allows you to see a map of the walk locations, where they did their business and plenty of photos as we wander about!

Before walking/visits can begin, there will be a free pre walk consultation to figure out the needs of you and your dog.
All clients requirements are discussed but more importantly, I need to meet your dog and ensure we are going to get along. If your dog is of a nervous disposition, it may be we agree on me visiting more than once so we can get to know each other.

The Dog Walking & Training Visits are for walking related issues with your dog. If you need me to work on a specific behaviour like lead pulling this is the service for you. I will work with your dog during the visit and discuss with you after what has been covered.
